The Snohomish County Hams Club
Is a volunteer organization of amateur radio operators who share the common interest of two way wireless communications for their own enjoyment, and also to serve the community in time of disaster, by volunteering their time and resources to establish and maintain a variety of communications infrastructure including radio repeater systems that allow mobile and portable "hand held" walkie talkie type radios to communicate distances exceeding 100 miles, as well as HF radio systems that provide world wide communications.

The SCHC has two repeaters, Located in Everett Washington USA
147.18 Mhz + shift with a 103.5 tone or 127.3 tone for the high level receiver [for outlaying areas]
444.575 Mhz + shift with a 103.5 Tone
Both Machines are linked together such that audio from either machine is rebroadcast out on the other repeater [band].
Both machines have autopatch / land line telephone access but no open access to 911 on the patch because of a malicious interference issue a few years back spoiled it for everyone.
Club Meetings:
The Snohomish County Hams club meets on the fourth Saturday of every month, except for the months of December, and June (Field Day weekend).
The monthly meeting of the SCHC is held at Providence Hospital, 13th and Colby, Everett WA in the Northern Lights Cafeteria. The Cafeteria is on the main floor at the north end of the hospital. Upon entering from 13th Street, look for the cafeteria on the left, the meeting room is through the doors in the cafeteria area. You can purchase breakfast before the meeting begins and bring it into the meeting room with you.
VE testing [license examinations] for new and upgraded licenses are conducted following the regular monthly meeting at 09:30 at the Baker View apartments [Ground Floor Conference Room] on 1401 Poplar St. in North Everett Washington.
